about me

In 1998, as an Engineering student at Ryerson University in Toronto, I started experimenting with web design and development.

I got my first web development job at a typical ‘dotcom’ start up company, and after 9 months working as their primary web developer, I was one of the last few to be laid off.

My next experience was as a web developer at a small web design studio in Toronto, and then to the total opposite, the huge telecommunications corporation, Telus Mobility. I remained at Telus Mobility for 6 years, quitting in January 2007, opting to start my own business instead.

I work with many different content management systems, some include, expression engine, joomla, textpattern, wordpress, as well as many online stores, Shopify.com, osCommerce, CubeCart, Zen Cart, and others.

This site is powered by Expression Engine , which I totally love!
Right now, I am still in the process of developing this site, so you may run into some pages that look a little weird or things that don’t work. Please drop me a line at info@shaziamistry.com to let me know if you discover anything odd, or if you just want to chat, I love any kind of feedback! :)
