introducing Sakeena for WordPress

My first ever WordPress theme! I designed it as part of the Sandbox competition!

Sakeena is a very simple and elegant theme. The thumbnails at the top can be feed from a Flickr stream, so that they can be the users personal images.

I decided to enter the competition because Sandbox is a really great theme to work with, and although I don’t know Scott, I think I like him! You see, back before the competition was announced, I thought of building my first free theme and I decided on Sandbox as the base, I then emailed Scott to ask what he preferred in terms of linkage, I was pleasantly surprised when I got a thoughtful and helpful answer almost right away. I am even more impressed by the way the competition was conducted, I really appreciate the time and effort that went into both the theme and the competition.

Sakeena is technically available for download, but since I did put it together in a day, it is missing a few key styles, so I will be working on a slightly modified version for a public release after the competition is over.

I really like the legance of this theme, along with the photo block left idea.

I was wondering if you could tell a novice the line that makes the content area wider.

Nice work mate really. I like the colour scheme, it’s something a bit fresher than the standard Grey/White or Blue/White or the wordpress world smile
It’s a lot harder to spot as a wordpress theme too.

Maybe you could answer a question about wordpress theme design for me, how hard is it to program in the “theme options” such as different headers and colour schemes I see in certain themes?

Here on one seo site site is lifted subject about that atr. “external nofollow” is taken into account google when ranking rather then is taken into account only in clean type rel="nofollow" That think the gentlemen?

I’ve found the download!!! I love it, just fixing a few things to my liking (like the tests from English to Dutch). I’ve got one little question though: where can I change the flickr-code for the images in the header???
